I also would love a deposit invoice option. I make personalised items and required a 50% deposit before I start creating the designs and artwork samples.

Hey MishyMoo1 thanks for adding your thoughts and specific business case for deposits on invoices. We love hearing how we can help our Solmates.
Two suggestions for temporary workarounds (in case you hadn't thought of them:
- Each invoice comes with a Notes to customer field. You could include a note about the 50% deposit requirement, with a due date for that payment (but you'd need to take the payment by direct deposit or BPay)
- Issue a deposit invoice (using Notes to customer to indicate this is 50% deposit), and then a final invoice (using Notes to customer to indicate it is the remaining 50% balance.
