Vote for Quotes!

Having the ability to quote is a no brainer, I’ve recently started using the app/ software and was shocked when I could not find the quote feature. 
The app looks fun and easy to navigate so I hope this feature does get added soon. 

Hi All, Now i’m all about the quotes issue as it’s easier if everything is in 1 place..

As a sole trader myself I need quotes so I still write my quotes for now. (To easy)

I was already doing that anyways!! 

And we all have only just paid $12 for year just to try it as it’s cheap & easy for what it is really designed for which is to do the admin at the end of financial year.

And my accountant can access it to keep an eye on where i need to be. 

if you all wanted quotes so badly then pay more a year & get the small business package which comes with all the stuff you guys are wanting. 
Because the more stuff on this app the price per year goes up for the ones who just want the basic admin robot.

We know the ability to send quotes has been a long-standing request, and we totally get why. For many of you, it’s not just a nice-to-have; it’s part of how you run your business. 

So, here’s where we’re at: we’re officially kicking off discovery work for quotes. 

That means we’re in the early stages of exploring what quoting could look like in Solo. What it might do, how it could work alongside invoicing, and what’s technically possible under the hood. 

Just to set clear expectations: we’re not committing to building quotes right now. There’s no confirmed timeline for development, and we can’t make any promises about when or if it will land. But we are doing the legwork to understand the need properly and explore the options. 

As part of this, we’ll be speaking directly with Solo customers to learn more. If you'd like to be involved in that process, let us know by replying and we'll reach out via DM starting next week. 

In the meantime, every comment and post in this thread still helps. Your feedback gives us a clearer picture of how quoting fits into your world, and we’re sharing that directly with the team.

3 months and no update? 

There are Apps out there that will do Quotes to Invoice which would make a sole operators life much easier and more convenient than paying for two apps, Solo, Plus a quote Creator/Maker. I do most of my quotes on the go and will require a deposit for bigger jobs, which would need to be reconciled in an invoice. 

If MYOB are not able to provide this option soon i think it would make more financial sense to change products, which is not ideal. Lets hope things move quicker than ‘grass growing’.
