Import error 10 invalid date

Hi There,

 

I'm trying to import general journal entries and an error message came up:

Error -10: Invalid date.

 

Please refer to the importing files and the error from MYOB.

Can you please confirm what is the source of these import files? Are these exported out of Retail Manager and then imported to AccountRight or from a third-party app?


In case it's imported from Retail Manager, this error would mean that the date in AccountRight is a different format to the date in the import file, however, when your AccountRight file is online, it is using the date value of the server that is hosting the company file. As we cannot match to this, it means you will need to take a backup of that file, restore it locally, do the import and then upload it online.

If the file is from another app, please ensure that the dates are in the correct financial year and there is no lock period on the file ( can be checked under Setup>>Preferences>>Security).
