command center used for checking data entry errors

I am using AccountRight 2018.3.

My customer complained of some errors in his customer statement. His address details are wrong. Now I have some queries:

1. In the MYOB company file, where can we find customer information for responding to his complaint

2. How to update his customer details?

3. Which command center should be used for checking the entries for errors.

Re: command center used for checking data entry errors

Hi @TanyaG1

The information of an customer's card can be reviewed by:

  1. Navigating to the Card File Command Centre.
  2. Select Cards Lists.
  3. Select Customer tab.
  4. Choosing the arrow next to the desired customer.

The above process will open the customer card profile tab where contact information including address information.  From here you can review or edit the contact information.

Do note: that multiple contact/address information can be located by selecting the necessary address option from the Location field (left-hand side of the Profile tab).

MYOB does have some terrific self-paced training courses at MYOB Academy. These are designed to get the most of your MYOB software and take you through basic setup processes to more advantage processes. The best thing is that they are currently free. Re: command center used for checking data entry errors

Thank you Steven for the prompt reply. I am a student and  I am learning MYOB AccountRight as a part of my study course. As per your advice, I will definitely enrol into MYOB Academy for training for better understanding.

Before sending you the post, this is the exact answer I wrote in my assignment. But the tutor says it is wrong. she is asking for " A different command centre( other than Card file command centre) that can be used for checking the entries for errors in customer card".

So, please help me with a different answer.

Re: command center used for checking data entry errors

Hi @TanyaG1

I would recommend referring back to the tutor with regards to what exactly they are wanting you to provide that information. However, from a user point of view, the Card File stores the current information relating to customer cards.

Kind regards,
Steven
