Sales Registers: Search for item number

I understand what you are trying to accomplish but can I confirm where this serial number you are trying to search for is located inside the sale transactions itself. Is it located in the comments field, invoice number field, journal memo field, etc.

Jake_N we have created a part number and then manually type in the discription the seriel number.
