Long service leave accrual in MYOB

Good afternoon

I have an employee who has hit the 5 year LSL entitlement mark and now would like to enter the details in to MYOB and have future entitlements accued fortnightly.

I have successfully entered the employees full entitlement to date (this is printing in my Entitlement Balance Summary report) and have set up the LSL payroll catergory to accrue at 1.66% per fortnight, but I have a problem somewhere.

The full entitlement carrying forward is ok, but I am not accruing when I run a payroll.  LSL shows up in the payroll screen, but shows 0.  I am sure there is something simple I have not done, but cannot see what that is!!

Thanks

Kat

@learning

The most likely reason is that this person is on salary. %age only works on hourly. If you have a mix of salary and accrual you will need to setup an LSL accrual category for Salary, where the accrual is per pay period
