Hi all,

I hope AccountRight users updated their software to our new 2013.1 version in the past week.

We’ve had a fantastic response from clients and Partners about the new update’s many improvements. As mentioned in our AccountRight blog, the update was the result of overwhelming feedback from clients that they wanted a snappier AccountRight with the familiar data-entry workflows from the classic versions.

We gave priority to optimising speed, like the time it takes to complete a bank rec, as well as workflow improvements like reducing the number of steps and effort required to record a sale. There are some really significant changes that help make using the software much faster and a more enjoyable experience. We have more detail about what’s changed in 2013.1 at our AccountRight Help Centre.

Our next update – AccountRight 2013.2 - is coming very soon. It’s our annual compliance update and will be released before the end of June. We will of course also have a compliance update for our classic platform, which will be version 19.9.

The AccountRight 2013.3 update will have even more speed and performance improvements. Our approach is to keep tackling performance “piece by piece” until your feedback tells us we’ve hit the mark. We’re committed to making AccountRight Live the fastest online accounting software available, and progress made in 2013.1 suggests we are on track to meet the goal well before the end of the year.
