Incorrect Tax Code used on Pay Run

Hi

 

I am using payroll 2018.1.

I started a new employee and put in his details and after I had finalised pay I realised it had the wrong tax code and therefore pay was wrong. Can I delete this pay now I have finalised it ?

You cannot delete a payrun as such - you could restore the backup from the prior weeks payrun and then process this (all employees) payrun again. Alternately - you could process a reversing pay for that employee - entering in exacly the opposite of what you paid him (including a negative on the PAYE line) - then process it again correctly. This would result in two extra payruns for this employee only - they could be dated the same date.
