AccountRight to Business Lite I'm a bookkeeper for a very small business that has only used the desktop version of AccountRight and was wondering what I would need to do to get the file online but just using the Business Lite version, as being online would make it a lot easier for the Accountant to access. Adding Notes to Payslips I was wondering if you can add different notes to individual payslips and if so, then how do you go about doing this. SolvedStaff Savings Accounts Some of our staff would like money taken out of their weekly pay and placed into a savings account and then when they are short of cash one week they have funds sitting in this account that they can withdraw out. I thought of maybe setting this up under the Deductions tab in the payroll categories and putting this against a liability account but the balance of their savings account doesn't transfer over to the following financial year, therefore giving them false amounts in their savings accounts on their pay slip but the amount in the liability account is correct. At the end of the payroll year, the balances in their savings accounts are correct in the liability account but once the payroll is closed for the year, then their balances go back to $0. The employees would like to know how much they have in their savings accounts as a tally, not just for the payroll year. Deductions in MYOB AccountRight Payroll I was wondering if there was a way to have the closing balance from the old payroll year for deductions to transfer over to the opening balance for the new payroll year, eg just like the entitlements do? An example would be: Savings for an employee - at this stage it just shows the amount per pay period as well as an amount for the year to date on their pay slip. I would like to see the total that they have in savings from all previous years combined. Looking forward to hearing back from you re this. Solved
