Hi All, If I run a report (sales for this FY for a range of products for example) and export it into Excel, I'm finding that i can't then 'Copy & Paste' this data into another spreadsheet. Is this just me & I have inadvertently changed a setting or something? Have been doing this for years without issue but something has changed recently? Cheers, Dave Re: Exporting Item List report to Excel Hi Mike_James OK thanks for the heads up - I'll pop something in the ideas forum now. I did actually also speak to someone at MYOB a while ago who was going to forward it to the appropriate team but i haven't heard anything further. I was hoping the upgrade to Premier from Plus would enable this option (the sale person seemed to suggest it would!) but no good alas.... We are currently physically printing an invoice, then 'printing' the Pick Slip as a PDF, then using Acrobat to 'cut and paste' the data into Excel, (which isn't an exact science at all!) then sort using the bin locations, printing it from there. Its very time consuming and annoying! The invoice and pick slip can be in different sequences. So if you think you could help - my email is david**.au Thanks! Re: Exporting Item List report to Excel Hi Mike_James Just checking if you saw my reply below - wasn't sure if it maybe got hung up as I'de included an email address in it? Cheers Exporting Item List report to Excel Hi All, We've just upgraded to Premier from Plus - in the past when exporting this report (and others) the inventory comes across on a single line making it easy to sort and combine with other data. But now each product loads into excel on 2 lines with the product code/description on one line and the quantity etc on the next line. Anyone know of a way to get it to revert just to all the data for each product to be shown on a single line? Thanks! Re: Exporting Item List report to Excel Hi Mike_James Yes and thank you again! I've asked this a couple of times before - maybe in the wrong place? Haven't had any luck... Sorting by Item Number in Invoices/Orders? | MYOB Community Script / Report Writing Help | MYOB Community Re: Exporting Item List report to Excel Hi Mike_James , Thank you so much for this - I've just had a play and it seems to have worked! Only change I needed to make was to delete the cell at the top of the 'Unit on Hand' column (E) so that the quantity was then in the same row as the item code. You don't happen to have a fix for sorting Picking Slips by alphanumeric codes do you? We use the 'Custom Field 3' to note every SKUs location in our warehouse and it would be much easier to have the Pick Slip sorted by this 'Bin #' rather than by the order in which the SKUs were entered into the invoice? I'de be very happy to pay for someone to write me a script if its possible? Thanks! Re: Exporting Item List report to Excel Hi Mike, Thanks for your reply! And yes that is my issue - I'm trying to compare current stock levels (total, regardless of location) with sales over the previous 6 months (or whatever time frame). I've been able to run an inventory report and a stock report, export both to Excel and just 'merge' them reasonably easily. With over 1500 SKUs I'de prefer not to need to manually enter the stock level for each item. Any ideas? Thank you! Re: Exporting Item List report to Excel Sorry Mike_James to be a pain but just following up on this one - any ideas? Thanks! Re: Exporting Item List report to Excel Hi Mike_James yes we do….. Re: Script / Report Writing Help Hi Princess, Thank you for your reply to me! We've tried accountants and bookeepers to no avail - the best Google work-around is to save as a PDF, then copy & paste using Acrobat Pro in Excel and then sort. But this doesn't work every time as for some reason the Invoices and/or Pick Slips save as images sometimes in the PDF but as 'copyable' data other times? And we can't work out why! And its a bit of a pain/extra steps anyway.... It would be so much easier if a 'Sort' arrow was included at the top of the 'Item Number' column! I can't work out how to contact Mike_James other than tag him via this - Mike if you think you could help my email is david@mediterraneanmarkets.com.au Thank you both! Cheers
