Two questions; Does this mean there is a resolution being worked on for this issue? Why do you have to register for the update, wouldn't it just be rolled out with standard upgrades to all users? So this is not a solution that MYOB can just take this off the table rather than fixing an issue which so many users on multiple threads have expressed concern over. If you increase the display setting size, it increases all your display settings. As Paula stated the page does not fit on the screen when you do that which makes it difficult to use and if you use other programs along side of MYOB they are also increased and difficult to use. As I said in my original post, the issue is NOT fixed by increasing the general display settings on your computer. MYOB need to look into fixing the font size as this is an ACCESSABILITY ISSUE. This should be a high priority for MYOB to look into. A software program in 2024 that does not take into account people who have less than perfect eyesight is not keeping up with current workplace requirements around accessibility. Re: Increase font size within MYOB display screen Hi Shella I went to post this on the exchange board. But I noticed that this suggestion has already been made, many years ago and had 176 likes. Thats the first one I came across, i'm sure if I kept looking their would be more. So I can take from that MYOB has no interest in making its software accessible to those who are vision impaired. That is very disappointing. I imagine your loyal user base is getting older now, and with that comes decreased vision, you might just want to start catering to them. Increase font size within MYOB display screen Hi Can you please add the option for MYOB to increase the font size. I have changed my Windows system to increase the font size. Everything else has increased font size, but MYOB does not change. I've purchased super sized screens, but that doesn't increase the font size in MYOB. My team make mistakes, and I see everyone leaning forward and squintting at the screens trying to read the font. The font size in MYOB seems to be around 6-8pt which is very small. This should be something that MYOB fixes based on accessability issues. MYOB should not be only available to people with 20/20 vision. Re: ERROR – Quote added 10% to Items when Toggling between Sales Types Hi Steven The error is that when its refreshing it is ADDING 10% to the base selling price. I know that to prevent it you save the quote first and it won't happen. What I said is that the majority of the time this is what we do. However, in some high pressure situations, like having a customer on the phone and them changing their mind, we swap from a quote to an invoice, without first saving. We know that MYOB has this bug in it. We try to remember that the bug exists, but wouldn't it be better to log the issue and get it corrected???? The fact I can recreate the error, means that its not a human error issue, or just a glitch on one invoice, its a bug in the system. ERROR – Quote added 10% to Items when Toggling between Sales Types Hi We have discovered an error with MYOB and this error can be recreated. I've attached a document as an example. The Issue is that when you start inputing a quote and then toggle the Sales Type to an invoice (before saving the quote) MYOB is adding 10% to the 'Item'. This does not happen when you first save the quote and then convert to an invoice. I understand that in normal practice we would start and finish and quote and then convert to an invoice later. However, at times we have customer's who order over the phone and in that phone call they decide they don't need a quote and just want to order the item. Phone calls are high pressure times, so having an error in MYOB is not something that the sales person is on the look out for. Can you please advise when this bug will be fixed? Cannot apply credits to sales invoice Since the latest upgrade we have had issues with apply credits to customer's invoices. Have tried: - Receive payments - get an error message " Unable to automatically apply the credit memo(s) to the open invoice(s). Please use the Sales Register to settle your outstanding credit memo(s). - From Returns & Credits - Apply to Sale - Open invoice does not appear. We do not have/use Categories. How can this be fixed? Thanks SolvedRe: Current Value & Average Cost N/A Hi Komal Checked our orders, all bills had been converted so that wasn't the issue. I managed to fix it by doing an inventory journal and adding an item of stock and then removing that item. When I did that it came up with the stock value of $0.01, which would make it a rounding error when the original stock got to zero and MYOB has then thrown an error. I have not found it on any other item code, so I am going to assume it was something to do with your cost of goods error and then the subsequent 'fix' that was done, or how MYOB is calculating rounding errors. We are finding lots of anomilies with rounding errors in our sales invoicing as well, but I will start another post about that. Thanks
