After recording that entry, something triggers in MYOB to reset the entitlements balance. I was able to then process the balance of the employee wages and the accrued entitlements were correct.Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020 This worked. I recorded one of the employees that was not claiming a leave entitlement for the first payroll run of 2020/2021. This some how reset the system. When I went to enter the other pays for the same payroll run, the entitlement balance has been corrected. Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020 I am trying to for the first payroll run of 2020/2021, but it is still giving me a notification that our employee has no leave entitlements Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020 I tested this, rolled over the year to 2020/2021, didn't fix it Still get zero balances on entitlements Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020 After receiving the MYOB notice that 2020/2021 payroll year is ready to enter, I logged off MYOB and re-tried. Still getting the error about the leave entitlements going into a negative balance for an employee I know has accrued leave Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020 Will this include the accrued leave? MYOB is letting me move through the screens today to process the wages (yesterday it locked me out), It appears that MYOB recognises the new payroll year, however entitlement balances at the 30/6/20 do not match 1/7/20. It appears the 1/7/20 balances have been reset to zero Re: Unable to process payroll for July 2020 I don't think the MYOB team are actually using MYOB. This is insane to have to wait to process wages. For the past 20 years, we have always been able to separate a financial year and a payroll year. I can't see why we can't continue to do that. I couldn't beleive we had to wait until the 1 July 2020 to enter wages (our pay week finished before the months end)
