Thanks Steven_M New Zealand for the answer Enter 1 payroll entry for the 2020/2021 year. ie I chose a single employee who did not have a claim for leave entitlements. After recording that entry, something triggers in MYOB to reset the entitlements balance. This worked. I recorded one of the employees that was not claiming a leave entitlement for the first payroll run of 2020/2021. This some how reset the system. After receiving the MYOB notice that 2020/2021 payroll year is ready to enter, I logged off MYOB and re-tried. Will this include the accrued leave? MYOB is letting me move through the screens today to process the wages (yesterday it locked me out), It appears that MYOB recognises the new payroll year, however entitlement balances at the 30/6/20 do not match 1/7/20. I don't think the MYOB team are actually using MYOB. This is insane to have to wait to process wages. For the past 20 years, we have always been able to separate a financial year and a payroll year. I can't see why we can't continue to do that. I couldn't beleive we had to wait until the 1 July 2020 to enter wages (our pay week finished before the months end)2KViews0likes0Comments
