When I process payroll then the base salary line on every employee is showing a warning triangle. The error message is "paying this leave will result in a negative leave balance for employee name. current balance 0hrs; accrued this pay 0hrs; leave being paid 1hr; projected balance -1hr". This is the base salary and is not a leave category. When I check under payroll categories for "base salary", it has ATO reporting category of "gross wages" and there is no ticked "override employees wage expense account". There is nothing ticked in "exempt". It is most definitely not a leave category and does not appear in my list of leave entitlements. There should not be this error message. It's also strange it appears on every employee. When I have processed payroll there is no evidence that it is changing the leave accruals for any other leave category and it does not stop me from paying payroll. I have now done 2 paycycles since noticing this warning triangle , and nothing changes even with the Accountright version updates. But it is disconcerting to have the warning triangle. Im also concerned it may affect end-of-year payroll. Any suggestions please?
