Hello Hippopotamus , Assuming you are using Accountright, You may be able to achieve this by using the 'Import/Export Tool' under the File menu at the top: Be sure to select Export Data > Export 'Accounts' > Type 'Account Information' > 'Separate Data Using Tabs' > and include atleast the following fields in your export file (see screenshot) This will create a .TXT file which can be dragged onto an empty Excel worksheet to open it. Regards, Re: On MYOB2019.2 - Experiencing frequent timeout errors within MYOB itself and API connected by a 3rd party also timing out. Hello Klea , Just a quick update on this matter, we have just been advised of an outage affecting certain clients with timeout errors, this is currently being looked at by our incident team. We are investigating server that is experiencing some performance issues when using their company files. Thanks for your patience.” Re: e payment Hello again, Well done on saving that ABA file. Generally you will need to sign into your internet banking and there will be an option somewhere where you can upload this aba file. For every bank there are different steps to follow, therefore it is recommended that you get in touch with your bank for the exact instructions. Re: e payment Hello shen , Inorder to recreate the ABA file for that first electronic payment transaction. You will simply need to open that Electronic payment Transaction. (you will be able to find it under Banking > Bank register or under 'Transaction Journal' > Disbursements tab) Once you have found the electronic payment transaction, you can open it and then select Edit > Delete electronic payment transaction (at the top left). Once the electronic payment transaction is deleted, the payroll transactions will revert back into the Banking > Prepare Electronic Payments screen and then you can recreate the ABA file. Re: how do I assign inventory journal access in account right to staff Sure AmandaPAVSQ , Once you look under Setup > User Acess. Whichever roles you have assigned to the employee, (see image 1) for each of these roles, you will need to go to Manage Roles > Select each role on the left > tick 'Inventory' > tick 'Adjust Inventory' > set it to 'read and write'. (see image 2) (PS: repeat the above steps for every role assigned to the employee because if there is a role that doesnt have this preference ticked, it can limit access) Re: aba file format not accepted by CBA Well done on giving that a go. At this point it is unclear where the issue resides. If we get any clients with an issue with the CBA's portal, i can try and come back to give you an update. The only other testing strategies i can recommend on the MYOB side is as follows: 1- Delete, recreate and upload the ABA file in two or more lots. (the more the better) This will allow us to narrow it down to: a) Perhaps a single supplier or an employee's information may be incorrect. b) Perhaps one of the tranactions being processed in the Prepare Electronic Payment screen is corrupt 2- If you can see anything out of the ordinary like any irregular characters in any of the transactions recorded or irregular characters being used in the banking information stored for one of the newer cards that were created. This may also need addressing. Let us know how you go. Re: aba file format not accepted by CBA Hello cct001 , Incase the ABA file has been corrupted in the process of creating or uploading the file to CBA. For testing purposes, are you able to try and recreate the ABA file. Here are the steps: 1- You will simply need to open that Electronic payment Transaction. (you will be able to find it under Banking > Bank register or under 'Transaction Journal' > Disbursements tab) 2- Once you have found the electronic payment transaction, you can open it and then select Edit > Delete electronic payment transaction (at the top left). Once the electronic payment transaction is deleted, the transactions within will revert back into the Banking > Prepare Electronic Payments screen and then you can reprocess the transactions to create a new ABA file. Let us know if the above doesnt work so we can track this issue. (Also we need to avoid opening the aba file before its uploaded to CBA. Another precaution we can take is to temporarily disable any system backup programs like onedrive/dropbox that might interfere with the ABA file, whilst you are doing this process) Re: Salary Sacrifice - Reportable or Not Reportable - HELP! My apologies Wendy for missing that part of the question. once you have fixed up your Super Salary Sacrifice Category as per my last post. You can do a Nill Pay/ a 0 dollar pay for this employee as at today's date. This will resubmit the YTD values against all Payroll categories used for that employee to the ATO. (This time it will also report any previously missed salary sacrifice amounts to the ATO). Alternatively, once you record subsequent pays for this financial year, for that employee, any previous pays can be ignored (as with every lodgement, MYOB will only send the YTD values to the ATO, so any previous nill YTD values for that payroll category will be updated by your next lot of pays) For more information, please see the FAQs section called "What gets sent to the ATO?" in the article below: http://help.myob.com/wiki/x/rLI6Ag Re: Salary Sacrifice - Reportable or Not Reportable - HELP! Hello Wendy2018 , Once you have setup Super salary Sacrifice as per the instructions below: http://help.myob.com/wiki/x/k4KO Under Payroll > Payroll Categories > Superannuation > *once you have opened the super salary sacrifice category* > It should only give you an option for 'Reportable Employer Super contribution' (RESC) as the ATO Reporting Category. This is the correct ATO reporting category. When running STP lodgement amounts with the ATO, it will automatically allow you to deduct salary sacrifice from your gross payment amount as well as show the amount under the RESC field. Re: Audit of changes made to employee card Hello VetLerissa , Unfortunately the audit reports in MYOB only track transactions that have been recorded to the database. (i.e. transactions that post to general ledger accounts). The audit report cannot track changes to cards, accounts list, entitlement balances etc. (as these dont affect general ledger balances) However, from past experience, I have found integration with third party timesheet/payroll softwares is the most common cause of this change, as when the third party performs a 'sync' with MYOB, in most cases we have found employee cards to be are duplicated (if the names dont match), existing cards' wage rates, payroll category ticks, email etc. can also be ammended by the third party program if details in the third party program dont match that of MYOB. The easy solution to this is to make sure the details in MYOB match the details set up in the third party program.
