Cheers Liz Re: Upgrading MYOB Accounting v14 to v19 Hi Franco_9 All of the older versions haven't been supported by MYOB for a number of years. Upgrading to v19 will help with some of the processing options but the confirmations for the file (that allow for continued use) are being discontinued by MYOB on 28th February. However, there is a third party provider FGH Tables that sells confirmation codes at a very reasonable price that will allow continued use of the file. Cheers Liz Re: End of MYOB v19 & earlier versions Hi Marlyse There is the option to buy a confirmation code from FGH Tables so that you can continue using Classic versions until you are ready to change. Cheers Liz Re: Old Versions to Stop Working? Hiqldbridge MYOB has decided to stop file confirmations at the end of February but there is a third party provider, FGH Tables that can confirm files at a reasonable price. If you haven’t cancelled your subscription with MYOB, then you should do so as you won’t need it and haven’t needed it since MYOB stopped supporting your version several years ago. Cheers Liz majubawest@hotmail.com Re: Import data or files from MYOB v14 to the latest version Hi Franco_9 MYOB V14 hasn't been supported for about 20 years. If they mean, the file won't be confirmed due to MYOB's plan to discontinue confirmations, then there is a third party provider who can do this (FGH Tables) at a reasonable costs if they are interested. Cheers Liz majubawest@hotmail.com Re: Issues with exporting to Excel because AccountRight exports to old Excel 97-2003 file type Hi JPS_Lifts I am using Windows 11 (upgraded from Windows 10) and I have installed the 32Bit version of MS Office and the Export works with my custom reports so this may be part of the issue. Another suggestion may be to try to Export to CSV - Comma Separated Value (TSV - Tab Separated Value) and then save into the appropriate Excel version. Cheers Liz Re: Renewing an old MYOB subscription Hi MDofPerth While it is true that MYOB no longer support v19 and will be stopping confirmations, if you are planning to use the old files you can still download the v19 from the MYOB downloads page https://www.myob.com/au/support/downloads?srsltid=AfmBOoqNrujM__4VSTLDlVWtXN9cWV_CbA2GZzVKpftS454J3tN-3KLZ and then restore the backup files (or open these if you still have copies). You can currently confirm the files with MYOB but will need to use FGH Tables (a third party provider) to confirm after 28th February if MYOB persists with their plan to discontinue confirmations. If you do wish to start a new subscription, then you will need to do as suggested. Cheers Liz Re: Option to have Date Auto Reverse for Journal Entries Hi WendyB2A There is a way you can do this by temporarily changing the Security settings. Go to Setup, Preferences, and click on the Security tab and then tick the box for Transactions CAN'T be Changed; They Must be Reversed (System-wide). Once you have clicked on OK you can go into a journal in the same way you would normally edit it and then you will see that when you click on Edit at the top, there is an option to Reverse General Journal Transaction. Once this is done for any relevant entries, return to the Security setup and change it back to allow Editing. cheers Liz Re: MYOB AccountRight Premier V19 Rollover Error Dm=Error Hi jodieovens25 You may not be able to get support for this version through MYOB but FGH Tables may be able to repair your file for a reasonable fee. Cheers Liz Re: MYOB Accounting Plus V14 Installer Hi Blackguard If you do mean the Legacy version of MYOB v14, then MYOB doesn't have a download option for this - v16 is the oldest. I do have the installer for this version but you will need to email me at mailto:majubawest@hotmail.com in order for me to send this to you. Cheers Liz
