SolvedRe: Salary - unable to change number of days worked for Salaried employee No need to carry on this fruitless post. I am changing to another payroll Re: Salary - unable to change number of days worked for Salaried employee Hi Could you please let me know how to do this? "work on your gross earnings to be able to adjust the pay from 5 days to 3 days" Thanks Re: Salary - unable to change number of days worked for Salaried employee Hi Celia I have tried changing the Default Hours per Day but the system does not allow me to change it. I see you snipped the page - can you change the Default Hours per Day to 3 and resnip so i can see how it calculates ? If I am unable to correct this then can you please suggest how I can resolve this issue? Re: Salary - unable to change number of days worked for Salaried employee I have attached a snip of the Pay Defaults window ,as you can see I have reduced the employees days /week in the Leave tab from 5 to 3 which has resulted in the correct amount calculating for Leave but the amount for Ordinary time,Sick,DIL is calculating incorrectly at 5days worked per week instead of 3. I cannot manually change these values as the fields are greyed out I am finding it extremely frustrating getting sense out of anyone. I have tried phoning and was on hold for over an hour. Is there anyone out there who can help Re: Salary - unable to change number of days worked for Salaried employee Thank you for your reply but the articles you recommended are to calculate LEAVE payments entitlements. In the snip I attached the daily rate has calculated at 5 days/week and the employee works only 3 days week therefore the daily rate should be $233.33 so the amount of $140 in the pay defaults window is calculating incorrectly (Ordinary time ,Time and a half, Sick Leave . Public holidays etc are all calculating at $140 day instead of $233.33/day. Salary - unable to change number of days worked for Salaried employee I have a salaried employee who has gone from working 5 days/week to 3 days a week but I am unable to make any changes, as the rate of 5 days/week is set in, so the rate per day is incorrect . (As attached). Please can someone help with this!
