ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Preparing July Payroll in June That's great news, thanks Chris Preparing July Payroll in June Just trying to find out if this is still an issue this year. Phone support was unable to understand my question and I wasn't allowed to speak to a payroll specialist myself. We will need to prepare our first July 2022 payrun in June as payment is due 1/7/22 and we prepare 2 to 3 days earlier, which will be in June. This was a huge problem the last 2 years as an error occurred when trying to do this. Our datafile needed to be sent in to apply a fix. Has this been rectified yet or are we expecting the same probem again? Re: First pay for FY22 No Steven, the error being reported is well understood by MYOB. The offline files are hardcoded with the July 1 date for payruns in the new payroll year. There is obviously a regional time setting so, in Sydney, we have not clocked over to whatever that time is. Support has escalated my request but the best answer was "some time today". I already sent my file in 2 days ago when you suggested that there might be something wrong with it. There is nothing wrong with my file. The problem is that MYOB has not provided a solution for users of offline files. Re: First pay for FY22 Why have my answers to people reporting the same issue been moved here? Re: First pay for FY22 MYOB Support's answer to this incredible situation is that it will work "some time today" Re: First pay for FY22 Same problem here. MYOB support has confirmed that it will work "some time today" Unbelievable Re: First pay for FY22 Well 10:30 am on the first day of July and still not working. Support confirms that it will work "some time today" Wow MYOB Re: First pay for FY22 Just in case anyone finds themselves here with the same issue, MYOB have confirmed that this is now an issue only for offline files. If you have an offline file, you will only be able to process a payrun with a paydate in July from 1st July. It looks like this issue has been solved for online files. Re: First pay for FY22 Thank you for your help Steven - I've just done that Re: First pay for FY22 I'm using MYOB on my desktop if that helps (not an online file)
