Thanks Amanda. I've spent 2 hours on a chat with Myob support, who had no idea about this issue. They tried to blame it on the amount of bank transactions in the file and the 'fix' was just to delete the bank transactions! Obviously this is not possible. I have two staff that have been promoted from casual to full-time salaried. When I try and delete the check box for 'base hourly' Myob generates the error 'one or more payroll categories cannot be deselected as they have been used on recorded timesheets'. Consequently, when I do the payrun it will add the salary AND the standard hourly base! I had to manually delete the hourly figure every week or the system will pay both the salary figure and the hourly base. Apart from creating an entirely new employee card, which seems ridiculous, is there any way to correct this issue?560Views0likes3Comments
