For the last few years I have been attaching documents to my sales and purchases and just keeping the paperwork in a box rather than a folder by month attached to a statement like I have always done in the past. It wasn't until we just closed a company down and I moved the file offline (so that I didn't have to pay the ongoing fee for an online account) that I realised I had lost all of the attached documents. MYOB really should advise people of this before you take the account offline. It is also something we should all be made aware of when we move a company to an online account that we will probably need to keep the company online until we no longer require the documents. Otherwise you will be keeping two sets of records, one manual in folders and the other on MYOB. BPAY surcharge Hi MYOB Team, As raised by many other users in the "MYOB Community", and still not rectified can we please have either: - the ability to automatically pass on BPAY merchant surcharge fees to clients on invoices, as we do with MASTERCARD and VISA; and/or - the abilitiy to switch off BPAY as a payment option. We are a small business and were not aware that BPAY was being offered to our clients. We have now been stung with $5,000 worth of surcharges and will no longer be offering online banking if we cannot get this fixed ASAP. We previously had this same service set up with Westpac but chose to move across to MYOB as we thought it would be more efficient. If this is not fixed in the next few months we will be moving back to Westpac to provide this service. Regards Sally
