NZ payroll tax updates too early
Hi seems the NZ tax changes happening from 31st July are already loaded onto payroll. I am doing pays today ending 30th July and the tax rates have changed. We cannot pay the new rates yet. Hi yes I had seen this report but the only way to give it to our employees for their records was to individual change the filters for each employee to print it off one at a time as the report for all employees did not do one to a page and we cannot have the employees getting each others information. We need to email it too which is not an option, we will need to save it and email. The report also does not have the employee IRD number or the business IRD number or the employee's address. It does not say end of year earnings anywhere.This is information an accountant needs and we have a few employees who go through accountants. There used to be a button to click on to print/email our employee's Earning Certificates for the year. Can't find it in this upgrade. Been through every report and looked under the employee's accounts. We need to send these out asap. Anyone know where they are? I have done a final pay for an employee with a large amount of annual leave and accrued (191 hours) which makes his final pay about 5 times more than his weekly pay. The PAYE on it is huge. Does the system think this is a normal weekly pay? In the old payroll you could do a tax over ride to say how many weeks it was paying. Can I change the how many days we are paying part in enter pay to help the calculation? I cannot take the huge amount of PAYE off him as it cannot be correct. The Inland Revenue site does not have a final pay calculator to check. I need to do this final pay on Friday so now it is quite urgent.Solved1.5KViews0likes2Comments
