Can you tell me what you have found out in terms of a easy way to shift over to Zero, I believe it can be done free by a company and that it is very streamlined and easy to do, is that your understanding too? Re: Opting out of new security changes Yes, it took me no less than five.... 5 verification codes in order to get in to my.myob where I had to go to download an update which for some reason needed to be fully downloaded from scratch, is the security so good there that they can't see my file open already, unbelievable. I totally agree, there MUST be some serious security risks within MYOB's portals.... very worrying Re: Opting out of new security changes yes, the last option makes sense to me too, but surely there are teams of people at MYOB looking at all of these options, or are they waiting to find solutions from their users, if they still have any left Re: Opting out of new security changes I would like to see a MYOB response to this article. I am appalled that they are saying it is an ATO requirement, my intuition says there are deeper issues around security within MYOB and this is possible a red flag for us who are concerned to switch to other programs. Re: Opting out of new security changes Very good point about the New Zealand customers being made to re=sign in due to your ATO security changes, when they are not in Australia. I am dubious about ATO compliance and security requirements being behind this change. Thinking there may be other reasons MYOB have issues with security Re: Opting out of new security changes We too a so disappointed at the extra log in details, I am told this is not the case with other accounting platforms and I am beginning the process of switching to another product. Re: AccountRight and MYOB Business outage so disappointing, so many indicators that I should be switching to zero in the last few months, other software seems to be able advise users of an issue yet myob can't even post info on the internet, so that those of us who want a quick answer in google could get a quick yes or no to whether it is down or not... and now no indication of how long it will be down. Even my basic web based business programs have backup servers ....... hard to believe MYOB is not more organised Re: HOURS ON EMPLOYEE TIMESHEETS CHANGING AFTER SUBMITTING Thanks Samara for your continued interest, we have found that the address in our location did not generate the city based timezone which was applicable to the street address, I know, phenomenal, we selected an address which comes up automatically and below it there is a selection dropdown arrow, but alas, unless you notice this and open the arrow you may not be aware that although your address in NSW has been selected and verified, it connects it to Brisbane, miraculous! I went back and clicked the arrow to find other cities there, and selected Sydney. Should we not expect that if it has verified the address, which includes the capital city of the state in the address, that it would not link your time zone to that city? Why or how this even happens is my question, firstly it shouldnt matter what is set up in the location at all, if the employee selects 08:00 on their app, and submit it, it should remain 08:00 on their device, the device that is used to generate the pays etc. But alas, it does not, it rolls it back an hour based on........ apparently..... the time zone set in the employees phone, the timezone of the office computer..... how is that possible. Anyway, we are trying to be flexible, and I made a new location in teams, started trying to add employees to that location, apparently beneath approving managers, attempted to send out invites to the employees and then went back and removed the previous location. I found the whole process cumbersome and un-user-friendly! I sent screen prints to a support officer for some feedback, so we shall see what they think about how easy the softeare add on and the app is to use on a weekly basis. Perhaps you would also be interested in the discussion, I can keep you posted if you like. Many thanks again for your interest. Re: HOURS ON EMPLOYEE TIMESHEETS CHANGING AFTER SUBMITTING .... in addition, we tried to change the UTC on the office computer from +10 to +11 but there are no +11 in australia on there, just Bouganville Islands etc..... is it ok to use any of those areas listed with +11 anyway, even if it is not Sydney? Re: HOURS ON EMPLOYEE TIMESHEETS CHANGING AFTER SUBMITTING PS if we change the UTC on the compuer in our office, does that affect the MYOB Team software or APP?
