Error Uploading ABA Payroll File to ANZ - Invalid Account Number for Item 39
We had a new employee commence work recently and today we tried to pay them for the first time. When uploading the ABA File into ANZ, there is an error that says there is an "Invalid Account Number for Item 39." We went back and deleted the transaction and tried again with all employees apart from our new employee and it worked as normal. However, when trying again with just our new employee, ANZ rejected the payroll file again with the same error. We ended up paying him as a "Pay Anybody" and it went through fine so we assume it is an error with MYOB/ the ABA file, but obviously we would like it solve this issue for future pays. I have noticed that since the last upgrade we now have deposits to our bank account being automatically allocated to open sales invoices that we have in our system. Ordinarily this would be considered a good thing because it saves time matching deposits to your sales invoices, my problem is that we operate a business where the vast majority of our invoices are prepared on behalf of other businesses and we need to know when each invoice has been paid so that we can forward the payment on to the other business. We don't have any rules set up to automatically allocate bank feeds to sales invoices so I am guessing this a system wide upgrade and I am wondering if there is a way to turn this functionality off for our business. Here is what I sent to Chat (but didn't get a reply): Ian Hi, in Account Right 19 is there an easier way to delete Unprocessed Electronic Payments? I have a lot listed there because I had to redo the April payruns three times with all the changing advice regarding JobKeeper 7:22 PM Ian So I have pays and pay reversals in Electronic Payments which I don't want there any more. I've tried deleting the Reversals (and the Pays) one by one and then recording them again but they just come back under a new number 7:23 PM Ian I could try changing all the employees to Cash payments somehow (I think this is what I did last time this happened but I forget the details) and doing it all again but it is very time consuming. I am reluctant to just delete the transactions because of the mess I am in already which I don't want to make worse or delete the paper trail. So I just want to take those entries out of the Electronic Payments so they don't keep coming up every time I do a pay run 7:27 PM Thanks. Hi, I am a new learner of MYOB. I have a direct debit (BE Insurance) entry in my bank statement and I need to enter this entry into MYOB. We've changed to a different bank and I can't work out how to change the default account for various different things, e.g. electronic payments, spend money, receive money, so I'm having to use the drop down list to select the bank account each time I open these screens, which is a bit tedious. Hi there I have set up two new account, account type - "bank" , one is for USD account, the other is for USD deposit paid to a supplier. These account can be seen in accounts list, in the drop down list of Pay From Account when enter a payment, as well as from Reconcile account function. However, they do not appear in: 1. Bank register - when I go to bank register, these 2 account do not show up. 2. Hi I created an ABA file on 11 March and loaded it to our bank. Unfortunately my manager didn't approve the bank transaction until the 12 March, so of course it now rejects. Is there an easy way to re create the same ABA file with a new date or do I have to delete the original and re do the "Pay Bill" process individually to correct it?
