Working remotely with MYOB AO / AE
This is a question we get asked occasionally - and even more so at the momemt due to Covid-19, and the latest annoucnements from many of the state governements. Accountants Office, and Accountants Enterprise are desktop Client/Server applications. There are components that reside on your server - such as the SQL server, various Service applications, such as Lodgement and Backup services - and then there are workstation componets that are installed on your workstation to interact with the server components. because of the nature of the application, the workstation softrware must be on the same network as the server components. There are a few ways you can do this working from home - such as : Remote Desktop Connections to a Remote Desktop Server or individual workstations in your practice Remote Connectivity applications such as TeamViewer VPN connections We've written a Knowledge Base article that provides some ansers and provides a little more detail. you can find theWorking remotely in AE/AO and our financial hardship policy has a stack of info. Hi, I was hoping to get some assitance with a General Ledger report. I am currently producing a report for the previous FY and I was to see which user accounts made changes to the general ledger. I couldn't see any customisation settings and wanted to know if there was any way to determine which specific usernames have made changes, additions etc. to the ledger. Hi all I have just spent over 2 hours on hold with support for Practice Tax. My query was that I could not generate an invoice for the tax return I was processing in Practice Tax. I was told that they could not help me and they had to discuss with a specialist. When they came back to the call, I was informed that this functionality was not available presently and if I wanted to generate an invoice I could only work in the desktop version. To say that I am unhappy is understatement. How can you possibly in good faith release this product to tax agents with this function not available.myob certifications
Hi I have signed up for myob partner when I try open the myob academy for certification courses there are only video courses there is no option to enroll in the exclusive Partner Program certifications as mentioned on the web I can see this screen not like this please kindly help me so that I should not waste my time on courses which will not lead to certificationTax reports permissions
We have a custom tax report under reports- report list - tax 2023, also 2022 and 2021 I am a superuser and reports run ok for me, however I have a basic user that needs to run the reports - can you advise what settings I need to change under Maintenance Tasks permissions to give them access I am assuming I start with Product - Tax then selecting the group I have tried this and it says all reports are accessible. I need to change the email address I log-in with. It is telling me the email address already exists - a client sent me an invite using my new email address before I had the change to change on my end. I accepted the invite without realising (my old email address is on diversion) and now I can't change my email address for MYOB practice. It is telling me the email address already exists. How can I fix this? Can MYOB delete the one I accidently accepted the invite on?Upload excel template for posting
Im under Accounts payable team, therefore there will alot of invoices need to key in and post/record in MYOB. I believe there is a way to make this easy. There are recurring vendors so need to key in the vendors name, date, inv no and amount. So, I thought it would be easy to prepare an excel spread sheet and upload it in MYOB so that its uploaded and posted. But how?? There is a way in SAP, macro template and just upload it in SAP.. the entries are posted. So can this be done in MYOB? Kindly help me...thanks in advance31Views0likes1Comment
