Bank rules: Create rule per bank account
Hi, We have several bank accounts with transactions of the same name allocated to different categories. It would be very helpful to be able to filter payments on different bank accounts. As an example We manage two holiday houses and want to separate the expenses for westnet into different "Category accounts" TELEPHONE, INTERNET AND TELEVISION HOUSE 2 TELEPHONE, INTERNET AND TELEVISION HOUSE 1 Currenlty all expenses relating to each house is paid from separate bank accounts however when I try to filter the transaction in rules there is no way to differentiate between the two expenses. Sugest: Separate filter box for Bank accounts "within the bank account" or: Alternatively the search box could be extended to include "If the bank Transaction and or bank account description contains" "Allocation Rules"6.5KViews37likes10CommentsGet Statement: Rule set up
Please could we be able to apply rules to Imported Statements in one of 2 ways Either - let us import statements into the Bank Feeds window so that the Rules functionality will apply Or - add the rules functionality to the Get Statement window (from either Bank Register or Bank Reconciliation) We get many clients who give us accounts just once per year and it's all retrospective. It's very frustrating having to code a years worth of transactions knowing the functinality exists elsewhere in the product, and fully exists in a competitor product "Bank Feeds - Transaction Rules"11KViews23likes19CommentsBank Feeds: Rules - Spend/Money Transaction to be Tax Inclusive
Currently, you can enter some advanced options when creating a rule transaction (such as jobs, tax codes, memos, etc.), however there are some options missing... I'd like to see the following options added to the new rule transaction window: Spend Money: Tax Inclusive Cheque No. ('auto' or set value) Receive Money: Tax Inclusive ID No. ('auto' or set value) Payment Method "More advanced options for bank feed rule transactions"3.8KViews8likes4CommentsBank transactions: Assign a rule to transaction
Essential Assign of cash transactions needs to be able to assign to existing rules, not just the items on tehc ahrt of accounts. This would allow faster allocation as done with Payees in BankLink and cas coding in oppostion applications. "Ability to Assign to a Rule not just an Chart of Accounts item"1.7KViews2likes1Comment
