Super Guarantee not calculating properly under new payroll category
Good morning I have been asked to split some employees time between two COS accounts. This has involved setting up new COS wages accounts and moving them from the traditional expenses account. I have set up the wages accounts accordingly, and also Super Guarantee. What I have found is that one of the super guarantee accounts accurately reflect the super for it's related wages category, but the other SG account is not calculating at all. I have uploaded screenshots of the relevant cost of sales categories and a dummy wages payment so you can see what is going on. Any help appreciatedSolved727Views0likes2CommentsSuperannuation Guarantee increase
Hello I have just found this information from this link and I am querying it. https://help.myob.com/wiki/display/ar/Changing+the+superannuation+guarantee+rate#expand-WhatifIneedtorecordapayinthepreviouspayrollyearafterupdatingmysuperrate If you're processing a pay that includes dates in June and July, the applicable super guarantee rate is based on the Payment Date. For example: If the payment date is June 30 or earlier, the super guarantee rate for that pay should be 9.5%. If the payment date is July 1 or later, the super guarantee rate for that pay should be 10%. ................ Our last pay run for the financial year ends on 30th June 2021, but pay day for that period is 1st July 2021. We were on the understanding that 9.5% SG would still apply to that pay cycle but that is not what you have advised as able. Couuld you please confrm. RegardsSolved1KViews0likes4Comments
