Excitement is building here at MYOB as we get closer to next week’s release of our cloud accounting service AccountRight Live. We will launch a dedicated AccountRight Live board on the forum next week, and will be publishing plenty of information to assist clients who are considering the new platform.
Thanks again to all those community members that completed online surveys about the Community Forum in the past couple of weeks. I spent much of this week looking closely at all of your responses and contacting as many respondents as possible.
We are really pleased that the vast majority of responses to our survey were very positive and that the recent forum changes have been well-received. We also really appreciate the great suggestions we received from some users about how to improve the forum even further.
But one alarming trend we noticed was a large number of forum users saying they had not received a response to a question posted when in fact they had received a prompt reply. Obviously they just didn’t realise they got a response. We assume they were expecting an email, but had not subscribed to email alerts.
To ensure you never miss a reply to a question, we recommend you automatically subscribe to any topics you participate in. This ensures you are alerted to any replies to questions you post via an email. The setting is the first under the Subscriptions & Bookmarks tab in My Settings.
Remember that the easiest way to find threads that you have participated in is to click on your username. You will see a list of your recent posts. You can click View All to see more. And on the front page under your username you will also find a link that says My Posts.

It was another busy week on the forum, with over 240 new members joining the community and over 620 posts, including 150 from MYOB staff. Our top contributors this week were JenPerram, MummaMia, Murray_McKenzie, Mike_James and Julia_Berkhout.
Our star of the week was JenPerram who had five posts marked as Accepted Solutions.
