Apologies for the break in transmission while I enjoyed a holiday. I hope you had a wonderful Easter and at least a few days break, including those New Zealand-based clients who were busy with end of financial year commitments.
Before Easter, we sent out a brief survey to Forum users who had recently joined the community. Many thanks to all those community members who provided feedback.
One trend from the survey that we noticed was forum users saying they had not received a response to a question when they had indeed received a prompt reply. When I followed up with many of these newcomers, they simply did not realise they had got a response. They were expecting an email, but had not subscribed to email alerts.
To ensure you never miss a reply to a question, we recommend you automatically subscribe to any topics you participate in. This ensures you are alerted to any replies to questions you post via an email. The setting is the first under the Subscriptions & Bookmarks tab in My Settings.
Please also remember that the easiest way to find threads that you have participated in is to click on your username. You will see a list of your recent posts. You can click View All to see more. And on the front page under your username you will also find a handy link that says My Posts.
We will also now be sending out Accepted Solutions reminder emails to forum users who have created a new topic and received responses from MYOB staff or other forum users. These will come a week after your post if you have not yet marked one of the responses as an Accepted Solution. If you don’t want to receive these reminder emails for topics you are already subscribed to, you will need to uncheck the box “Notify me about Accepted Solutions to question I am subscribed to”.
It was another busy week on the forum, with another 245 new members joining us and 600 posts submitted, including over 180 by MYOB staff.
Our top contributors this week were Nic-acc-addons, Geoff_, Julie_A_C, Tazinx, Murray_McKenzie. A special thanks also to jenniek, asstevens86, Geoff_, Julie_A_C and Murray_McKenzie who had multiple posts marked as Accepted Solutions.
