I Agree with both @Kelly81 and jenniek comments about AccountRight installation having an option to uninstall old versions. This is for two reasons:
1. Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Developers need to have multiple versions of AccountRight to service their clients.
2. Client businesses do not want their computers clogged up with old versions of AccountRight.
I suggest that the default for this option is off.
