MaryAnne30: Not sure what's causing your particular issue... You didn't need to uninstall 2016.1 before installing this compliance update - uninstalling was only required if you were using AccountRight 2016.2.0 or 2016.2.1 Server Edition.
Can you please double-check that you're starting AccountRight using the desktop icon labelled "AccountRight 2016.2"? If you only have one version installed, please contact the technical support team who can troubleshoot the issue for you.
