To be able to access an online AccountRight file, all computers need to be running the same version to be able to access the file. If you were to try and access the file using a lower version, you will get a prompt advising you that you need to use a specific version of AccountRight to be able to access the online file.
You can check with your IT professional as some network setups do not need to have you go from computer to computer to install the updates. However, in saying that most simpler setups will require you to install the update on each computer individually.
