Which version of AccountRight were you using before the upgrade? Upgrading to v2017.2 is effectively installing a new version of AccountRight, it does not alter any data in your company files. If you are upgrading from v19 or below, please use the 'Upgrade a company file', select the v19 file and upgrade it. If you are upgrading from v201x, then simply open the company file in v2017.2, it will prompt to update the file automatically.
If the file does not contain all the data, then it is not the up-to-date file. Please do check all your company files to locate the up-to-date one, then upgrade/open it in v2017.2.
