For those interested... It was an Aussie power grid surge that knocked out some cooling units at one of Microsoft Azure's datacentres (MYOB's Cloud Computing Provider). No doubt the words, 'stupid bl%#dy Aussies' will be said in a few New Zealand pubs later today. It also affected BOQ and Jetstar. Oracle went down as well. Link below:

They were back up and running within about 6-8 hours. But they are still doing some computer beep boop stuff to fully recover all services.
