Yep, I know exactly what you mean.
Nobody on support seems to know much about AccountRight any longer and I had the experiance yesterday of being told by a client when they phoned for support the person they spoke with said the solution to their problem was to use the Web Browser version.
In fact, that was *exactly* the wrong answer. Sigh.....
