Hi all,

I’m not a big fan of clichés, but usually a phrase became well-worn because it had a strong element of truth.

Recently I’ve been thinking about the phrase “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail” because at MYOB we've been doing a lot of planning lately.

For example, our client support team has been hard at work planning for both the Australian and New Zealand end of financial year periods. We want to provide all the assistance you need at such a crucial time for your business. We understand there are tasks you might perform only once a year and it can be frustrating not being able to quickly obtain support, so we are looking at many different ways to better serve your needs. Our big focus is on being proactive – we want to help ensure you don’t hit any roadblocks.

Meanwhile, members of the MYOB team from across Australia, New Zealand and beyond gathered in Melbourne this week for our annual conference, which included the unveiling of our company’s new three year plan. As MYOB CEO Tim Reed wrote recently, 2013 will continue to be all about leveraging the cloud to make business life easier. We will build on what we’ve launched by listening, learning and improving our solutions.

It was another busy week on the Community Forum, with over 290 new members joining the community and over 500 posts, including over 150 from MYOB staff. A big welcome to all those community members that recently joined us.

Our top contributors this week were jenniek, ronatbas, JenPerram, Mike_James and Marilyn. Special thanks to Geoff_, jenniek and ronatbas who had multiple posts marked as Solutions.

Thank you to all those community members who shared their expertise this week on the forum, providing such terrific assistance to so many community members.

Love your work,

Jason Hill
