It’s the last week of the Australian financial year. Naturally it’s been a very busy week on the Community Forum following this week’s release of compliance updates for both new and classic AccountRight platforms.
The release includes all the Australian Tax Office (ATO) changes required for making your software compliant for the 2013-2014 payroll year, including:
- PAYG tax table changes
- Superannuation rate change
- CDEP Payment Summary changes
- ETP Payment Summary changes
- The first lodgement of Building & Construction Industry Taxable Payments to the ATO.
New Zealand clients on the new platform should also update their software, as the AccountRight 2013.2 update also includes some other additions, like compatibility with Microsoft Office 2013.
I hope you have found our comprehensive end of financial year website useful in the past few weeks. As previously mentioned, the site includes easy-to-follow steps for your MYOB software, detailed Support Notes, and training videos about common end of financial year processes such as closing a financial year, closing a payroll year and reconciling transactions.
We always encourage clients at this busy time to first search the Support Notes database and the Community Forum to see if they can resolve their issue using these resources. You might also like to post details about your issue in the relevant board here on the forum if you cannot find information about your problem.
Of course, you can also contact us by phone or LiveChat 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We trained many additional staff this year to ensure we can help you as quickly as possible. We understand it can be frustrating not being able to quickly obtain the support you need. Our team has been working hard to keep wait times as short as possible. We find that the queues do fluctuate during the day, and thank you for your patience if you’ve had to wait for help.
It’s certainly been a big seven days on the Community Forum. We had nearly 400 new members join the community and over 780 posts, including 250 from MYOB staff.
