Hi all,

It’s been another very busy week on the Community Forum, but hopefully all Australians are now starting to settle into the new financial year (and get some sleep!).

This week we have warmly welcomed another 350 new members and over 830 posts were submitted, including 250 from MYOB staff.

Once again the star of the week was David_Cree who made over 50 posts, including nine that were marked as Accepted Solutions. Love your work David! TomOnTuesday, jenniek, JenPerram and Murray_McKenzie also had multiple posts marked as solutions. Many thanks for your fantastic assistance.

Our top contributors of the week in terms of kudos received were David_Cree, gavin12345, jenniek, TomOnTuesday and GDK. We think it’s amazing that you take so much time out of your hectic schedules to assist others and share your expertise and experience. Thank you so much.

We understand that over the past month some of you have had difficulty contacting us when you most needed help. We’re really sorry if our support did not meet your expectations as we are really passionate about living up to our motto of making business life easier. We certainly understand your time is extremely valuable and want to do everything we can to assist you.

We made many changes this year to better service our clients during the busy end-of-financial-year period when there is a heavy demand for our assistance. In addition to many proactive measures designed to equip clients with the resources they need, we hired and trained over 40 new team members to support our clients. This has meant we have been able to assist many more people in the past month compared to this time last year. We have answered over 10,000 more calls, over 3500 more LiveChats, over 2000 more emails and hundreds more Community Forum posts. We have also answered calls, LiveChats and forum posts significantly faster on average than last year.

That said, we certainly want to keep improving our service. Planning for the 2014 peak period starts as soon as this year’s busy end-of-financial-year period is over. We will continue to focus on measures that will provide all our clients with better service and support.

I hope you have a great weekend, including those in the building and construction industry who are rushing to meet Sunday’s deadline for taxable payments reporting. Let us know if you need any assistance with your reporting obligations.

Love your work,

Jason Hill
