HELP repayment not shown on tax estimate for non resident

Hi all,

 

I am preparing the 2024 tax return for a non-resident client who has a HELP debt. I believe I have filled out all required information in the tax return and the Non-resident Foreign Income Schedule. However, the HELP repayment is not shown on the client's Taxation Estimate. 

 

Can someone please help me with this issue? Many thanks.

    Hi Genreve_S,

     

    Thank you for your reply.  I've ended up calling MYOB regarding this and the operator told me this is a known issue that can't be fix at the moment. So the HLEP repayment will have to be calculated manually.

    Hi Ada_HR,

     

    HELP repayment generally uses the employee's tax tables. I recommend seeking help from an accountant or financial advisor regarding this.
