MYOB Portal

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows whether documents such as company director's resolutions can be digitally approved on the MYOB Portal - is that an acceptable way of 'signing documents'

Thank you

  • Hi Office-LS,

Thanks for your question - and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum - we hope you find it a useful resource!

ASIC accept electronic signatures for all forms, except Form 362 - which is used to appoint the practice as agent for that business.  This particular form requires a 'wet-signature' - even though you can lodge this one electronically.

All other electronically lodgeable forms can be electronically signed using the MYOB Practice Portal.

    Hi Matt

Thank you for the quick reply!

Sorry - just to confirm that this applies to not just 'ASIC forms' right but also to the relevant documents.

There are usually other documents associated with ASIC when a change is initiated for example, minutes or resolution to document a change in director, or consents to act that require the directors to sign.

    Many thanks
