Help installing myob accounting v14 on a new pc

I have installed myob accounting v14 on a new pc (windows 11) by moving all the application files over to the new pc and it is asking me to verify the company file using the online tool. 
- Is this the correct and safe way to have the software moved to a new pc as i do not want to lose any configration settings and 20 years worth of files?

 

note, i have the original installation media.

    I have done this with other old Legacy versions and every version from v14 onwards requires confirmation. You can try the online confirmation but you may have to contact a moderator on here during the week and arrange confirmation through them. There is a thread here that may help https://help.myob.com/wiki/display/GEN/Activating+and+confirming+older+MYOB+products#expand-Ifyoucantactivateorconfirmonline - it's a bit confusing but you choose Confirm by phone and follow the steps on the screen to get a code. Don't be persuaded to upgrade if you don't need it - I have all of the versions back to v12 working on my Windows 10. Windows 11 should work but you won't be able to send to MS Office as it only allows 64Bit and you need 32Bit Office to work correctly. There are workarounds so come back on here if you have any issues.
