Do Jobs budgets consolidate on the P&L

I am new to AccountRight and we are accounting for a small public authority. I want to implement cost centres for our divisions and I am trying to determine what is best out of Jobs and Cost Centres. Assuming I use Jobs and add budgets to them, will budgets consolidate on the P&L?
