Activity statement trading name

Question

Hi all,&nbsp;I have just noticed my activity statement lists an old trading name instead of my registered business name.The trading name was cancelled in 2010 and shows that on ABN LookupThe new business name was registered in July 2023 and shows up on ABN Lookup as current.In my MYOB Business Light, my trading name is set correctly as my current business name.But still, the activity statement shows the trading name that ceased 14 years ago.Has anyone had this happen to them and have any ideas of a fix for it?TIA.

I understand that you're experiencing an issue with your activity statement displaying an old trading name instead of your current registered business name. I would recommend changing the details in your BAS settings and checking your payroll business name under ATO settings.
