Chart of Accounts - adding expenses for a new financial year

i was able to add my expenses for FY 23 and am now working on my FY24 tax.  i was able to close out the FY23 but it still shows an expense for motor vehicles.  when i try to input the expenses for this FY24, i receive this error:-

  please advise next steps so that i can input the data for FY24.
