Year end information

I wanted to clarify an EOFY question before it gets too late! ;)

Can somebody confirm, that in New Zealand/NZ IRD "the date the pay run is PAID determines which financial year that pay run applies to"?

i.e. pay week ends Friday, 31 March 2023, paid Tuesday 4 April - in this instance this pay would fall in the new financial year?

Additionally, is this how the New Zealand Payroll system will process the pays? It is driven by the PAID date, not week ending date?
