Job Report from Header Level down

Hello

e

So, I thought that if I created a Header Job with two detail jobs, that I could select that header job for any report and be able to report at header or detail level.  (In fact, I'm only really interested in the Job P&L).

 

Pretty disappointing that all of the MYOB job reporting doesn't even allow me to select the Header job to report on.... I mean, what?

 

I can't find any report that will summarise my Income, Expenses and Profit by Header, only by Detail.

 

So what is the purpose of Header and Detail jobs then?

 

Anyone??

  • This would solve a major short coming. Of course, small jobs feed up into a larger header classifications which need summary reports.  As above, what's the purpose of header jobs if you can't produce any reports with them? And many people have asked for this for decades, can MYOB please make this happen?

    Hi W_Sailor and Harp,

     

    I get how useful the job report that is specific to header jobs is. The development team works on specific features based on how much it impacts the use of the application and the number of users it will benefit. You can vote for the suggestion to increase the chance of it being part of a future update. 

     

    In the meantime, feel free to create a new thread if you need any other help.
