Time Billing questions

I have just begun using the Time Billing import function as we upgraded to Premier.

I have two questions:

1. As part of the import document can you have blank lines inserted automatically at the top of each time billing import. Ie. put something at the top of the import template that tells myob you want to insert 2 x blank lines or something?

2. What does "I include items on Time billing items" mean in the preferences. Does this mean you can add an item to time billing that does not have an activity ID? Just wondering how/why this field is utilised and if I may need to use it I will understand it more.

 Thanks all

    Hi Lisa_Aus,

Thank you so much for your detailed post. I'm sorry to hear if you're having issues when using Time Billing import. I really appreciate your patience and understanding about this issue, and I do apologize for the delayed response.

When it comes to adding blank lines at the beginning of each time billing import in MYOB AccountRight, it's important to understand that you can't typically include such instructions directly in the import template. Import templates are primarily designed to align specific data fields with corresponding fields in AccountRight. Blank lines or formatting instructions aren't typically part of the standard import template setup.

However, if you find the need for blank lines or specific formatting at the start of each import, you'll likely need to manually adjust your data before importing it into AccountRight. You can achieve this using spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel to format your data by inserting blank rows at the top as required. Once your data is appropriately formatted, you can proceed with the import process.
