TO DO LIST

We use the To Do List to track Debtors and ensure we follow up if payment is not received my due date.  The problem is i cannot find how to set up the Due date based on the "Promised Date" recorded on the invoice.  Instead the software used the date the invoice was created as the Due Date.  Obviously that doesnt make any sense.  Suggstions would be much appreciated

  • Hi PENNY

The due date of an invoice is determined by the Terms of the invoice. You can review and update the Terms by viewing the invoice in the Enter Sales window and selecting the Terms arrow (top right).

If you are wishing to have set terms for your customers then you can go into the customer's card and updating the Selling Details>>Customer Terms Information. Once updated, any new invoices would have those default terms on them.
