You are correct that a Balance Sheet should always show totals for Current and Non-Current Assets and Current and Non-Current Liabilities.
I would suspect you need to change the Report Levels.
Duncan
I've got it set to level 4 reporting and still dont get any further totals for Current and Non Current items. What is the point of classifing the Balance Sheet items as Current or Non Current if the reporting doesnt reflect this? Surely there must be an option to get more detail in the Balance Sheet. This is really poor on MYOB's behalf as it's quite a common thing that customers would want to see.

Totally agree that a Business Owner wants to see Totals so that the Balance Sheet is meaningful and able to be used for Decision Making/Insights.
I have been using MYOB since 1998.
In fact, the Reports from MYOB are, in my view, substantially better than its Competitor/s.
Report Generation/Setup in Browser software is often not to my liking.
The issue is often in the Setup.
Has a Tax Accountant/BAS Agent/MYOB Partner helped you with the Setup?
My view is that MYOB files should now be in the cloud and the Tax Accountant working within the MYOB file.
You mention you have selected Level 4 Reporting.
One should then look at the Accounts List.
Is the Subtotal ticked in the Headers?
This area of Accounting is of particular interest to me.
Let me know how you go.

Hi Ferdrick,
Thank you for your post. We want to thank DuncanS , for sharing insights on this issue. For your current and non-current liabilities accounts to be displayed as separate sections, you need to have a detailed account underneath those header accounts with some values. If you have detailed accounts with values and they still are not displayed separately, please send us a screenshot of your Account List and Balance sheet. Note that sensitive information cannot be posted on this channel.
Thank you,
Cel
