Is there a report for leave tracking information?

Hey community,

Every pay day, I diligently make notes in the pop up leave tracking information box. With some employees they are often taking annual leave in lieu of sick leave as they don't have enough accrued entitlements - so I like to make notes to that effect. Is there a report for these notes anywhere?

    Love that you're on top of things and making those notes every payday. That's some tidy bookkeeping! If you're wanting to check back on leave details, you can head over to the Entitlement Balance Detail report. That'll give you a breakdown of the leave taken and balances.

     

    I've popped a screenshot below to help guide you through where to find it.

    I have entered the date on the box on the pay but the notes are blank on the report?

    Hi penejane

     

    Thanks for the screenshot, that really helps show what you’re looking at. The Notes column on the Entitlement Balance (Detail) report doesn’t come from the Leave tracking information pop-up. It only shows the memo/description from the actual payroll transaction, like the paycheque memo or an entitlement adjustment memo. So anything you type into the Leave tracking popup isn’t written to that field and won’t show on the report.

    Is there a report to show it - if not bit of a waste of time -  I usually use timesheets to enter leave but my new client says to put on the payrun but if no report not much point!

    The report, when you ask it to show notes, will show what is written in the notes section of the leave tracking pop up. If there are no notes - nothing will show. I don't always adjust the dates in the pop up because I put the dates in the notes, especially if there are multiple single days. This is what shows in my Entitlement Balance (Detail) report (landscape orientation):
