I have created the TPAR File and upoloaded for testing and validating on ATO Portal but came back as failed with the following error message;
" Please contact your software developer. The file size is not a correct multiple of the record length."
Does anyone know what this means so I can correct the error.
Hi Gabsta when preparing the TPAR report, on the Company tab, check that the Branch field is either empty (check for spaces entered incorrectly), or has a 3-digit number if required, entered as eg 001, 002, 011, 101.

In past posts, MYOB has recommended downloading Notepad++ to help find illegal characters. What is the official website or a secure website to download this app from?

I was able to save my notepad file as a pdf and the illegal character was obvious and easy to spot. (It was a weird apostrophe character.)
I having a similar issue when uploading however receiving the error - WM52 - the field must not commence with a space. I have gone through our supplier listing and can't locate any supplier name's with a space before it. Can anyone provide guidance ?
Hi DanS, the field I found my error in was in the Suburb/City of the Card. So maybe check address fields that they don't start with a space??
