Developer Update March 2026

Hi Everyone,

 

We’re making some changes to the MYOB Developer Program and Platform Terms and Conditions, effective from 13 April 2026.

 

These changes are an important step in protecting customers, partners and MYOB, and ensure our approach remains aligned with evolving legal and industry standards. The changes relate to:

• Restrictions the use of AI models to train and improve AI Data (clause 31)
• Use of third-party AI services (clause 32); and
• Termination and suspension rights in the Terms to clarify when MYOB may suspend or terminate access to the Developer Platform (clause 63 – 67)

Also, AccountRight 2026.2 has now been released. Aside from the above terms and conditions update, there are no public updates to the SME API with this release. Please update your app to the latest version. You can find out more about the new version of AccountRight 2026.2 at our blog here.

 

As with every AccountRight release, older versions are scheduled for decommission. If you’re still on AccountRight 2026.1, please make sure to update by 31st March 2026**.
